Double Rainbow Cake by rottingteeth Double Rainbow Cake by rottingteeth
this rainbow cake is special. it has matching frosting colours for each layer! i believe it is in 1:12 scale.

i like to get a little messy with the "crumbs", to make it look more like a real cake that has just been cut. for example, when cutting a real cake some crumbs from the bottom stick to the cake knife and rub off on the top.

even though this is just dollhouse food and not jewelry, i still made it scented like frosted cake. it smells SO delicious ;A;

aww don't say that. if you really wanted to i'm sure you could. i just haven't had to work this past year, so that's pretty much all i've done is work on miniatures every day lol xD

so i've had a LOT of time to research techniques, try things and learn..it does take a lot of time and patience, but there are tons of great (and some very detailed) tutorials, and plenty here on dA. and i'm always happy to answer questions, whether you want to make something yourself or just out of curiosity :)

and thankyou for the lovely comment! :aww:

You're welcome! :aww: And thanks for the encouragement. I love looking at clay minis, but they'll never be my strongpoint. I really admire the people who've gotten really good at them.
